Location
Located in Quethiock near Liskeard, this tiny village is home to a beautiful medieval church and is surrounded by green fields and quiet Cornish lanes.
​
If travelling by car, you can reach several wild and unspoilt beaches within 20 minutes, such as Whitsand Bay on the Rame Peninsula. Nearby you can also visit the Cheesewring, Golitha Falls, the Hurlers, Carnglaze Caverns, Minions, Bodmin Moor and Siblyback Lake.

If you prefer to stay on site during free time, you can spend time with the rescue animals, relax in the large garden, or explore the farm’s wildlife pond, orchard and meadows, nestled within this peaceful valley.
​
If travelling by public transport, Liskeard nearby is on the Main Cornish Line and we can arrange collection/drop-off to the train station if required.

Tour the Sanctuary & Meet the Rescue Animals
You will get the opportunity to take a tour of the sanctuary with the owners and meet the rescue animals on site, including Dartmoor ponies, retired ex-beach donkeys, chickens and Buddy the kune kune pig.
​
Kate and Phil will talk you through their rewilding projects to regenerate the land and the valuable work they are involved in with the local farmers.
Accommodation
Apple Store Cottage is a bright and airy former apple store attached to the owner’s 16th century farmhouse. The cottage has two double bedrooms that can be booked with single occupancy and twin bedroom that can be booked with shared occupancy (single sex basis). There are two shared bathrooms.

Communal areas include a kitchen with a range of teas and coffee and a cosy living room. The cottage has a wealth of original features such as beautiful exposed beams and stonework. WiFi is available throughout the cottage.
​
Treatments, energy healing activities and practice Reiki healing sessions will take place within the gorgeous studio space.
​
The private raised terrace outside the cottage is where we will dine al-fresco (weather permitting). Ample parking is available on site.​​
Food & Drink
All meals are provided during the retreat, which are vegan, tasty and home cooked, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. A selection of tea and coffee is available to help yourself to throughout the day.​​

You are welcome to use the kitchen facilities during your stay, however please respect the owner's policy of consuming only vegan products on site.
Energy Healing Activities

Yoga Nidra with Chakra Sound Healing
Relax during a powerful guided meditation as you lie comfortably by candlelight. Often called 'yogic sleep' as the conscious mind lets go of everyday thoughts and drifts off to sleep, while the subconscious takes you to a profound state of inner peace and spiritual growth.
​​
During the session, Sarah will infuse chakra balancing sound healing using a set of tuning forks aligned to the vibration of each energy centre.
​
Morning Meditation Walks
Each day will begin with a guided meditation as we stroll through the grounds (weather permitting), connecting to the elements both externally and within.

Qigong
Harness the power of breath and movement and to create health and balance within the body and mind. Feel the flow of energy move through your energetic system. This evening session by candlelight will be restorative in nature for deep relaxation and rejuvenation.

Treatments
Limited slots are available during free time, if you wish to book a relaxing Ayurvedic massage, Reiki energy healing, quantum healing hypnosis, private yoga session or a health consultation with Sarah.​

Your Reiki Activation
The powerful Reiki activation ceremony will begin with a guided meditation to connect you to your chakras and energy body.
​
Each participant will then receive a personal activation, enhancing your ability to channel Reiki and use the L2 Reiki symbols. Everyone's experience differs but for for most people it one of profound peace and joy.

We will also have plenty of time for practical learning, including:

Certification
You will receive L2 Reiki Practitioner course certification which allows you to offer Reiki healings to the public for payment.​
